Privacy Policy

Learning Bites (the "app") is operated by High Growth Engineer LLC. This policy explains what the app collects, why it collects it, who it shares it with (no one, beyond the vendors below), and how you can delete it.
What the app stores
- Apple sign-in identifier. Sign in with Apple is the only sign-in method. The app stores Apple's opaque user identifier so it can recognise you on subsequent launches. If you used Apple's "Hide My Email" relay, that relay address is the only email the app ever sees.
- Topic selections, calibration responses, delivery time, lesson length. So the next morning's lesson can be generated for you.
- Lesson history, confidence ratings, spaced-repetition state. So Practice can surface the right card at the right time and the Knowledge Map reflects what you have read.
- Push notification tokens. So daily-lesson, weekly-recap, streak-save, review-due, and comeback notifications can fire on your device.
- Subscription status. So the trial timer + paywall behave correctly. Apple's App Store Server Notifications drive this; the app does not see your card details.
What the app does not collect
- No third-party advertising SDKs.
- No analytics SDKs that profile you across other apps.
- No microphone, camera, contacts, photo library, or location access.
- No sale of any user data, ever.
Vendors with access
- Apple. Sign in with Apple, App Store / StoreKit, Apple Push Notification Service.
- Render. Hosts the backend the iOS app calls.
- Resend. Sends transactional email (welcome, weekly recap if you opted in, account-deletion confirmation).
- Anthropic and OpenAI. Generate the body of each lesson on demand. Lesson prompts include the topic and your calibration profile. Prompts do not include your Apple identifier or email.
- Sentry. Captures backend errors so we can fix bugs. Sentry receives anonymous stack traces, not lesson content.
Transactional email (welcome, weekly recap if you opted in) is the only email the app sends. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. There is no marketing list, no drip sequence, and no announcements.
Deleting your data
From Settings > Account, tap "Delete account". You will receive a JSON export of your data (lessons, ratings, settings) followed by a permanent deletion of your account. The deletion cannot be undone. Apple's App Store cancellation flow handles the subscription separately.
Children
The app is rated 4+. It does not knowingly collect data from children under 13 and contains no user-generated public content.
